Be sure to show within 2 hours either side of low tide. We did not, but still got to dig a small foot pool. Look for the rocks for the best spot ;).

Great place to grab something to eat at the parking lot while you wait for 2 or 1:30 before the low tide. After that just rent a spade and start digging. Its all about locación, not depth.

Make sure you bring a shovel, towels, a couple of able bodied adventure seeking folks. Look for the stream of boiling water, then dig a hole in the sand near it (mix the hot and cold water for bliss)

Unfortunately a bit crowded during low tide but worth checking out! Careful, the hot springs are very hot in places.
