Ceuta border - Organ Vida Archive

Ceuta, Spain, January 11, 2011 Anti-immigration fence. An officer of the Guardia Civil checks the border fence between Morocco and the Spanish territory of Ceuta. The rocks in the back are on Moroccan territory. Ceuta became part of Spain in 1580, and is, along with the Spanish city of Melilla, the only landborder between the EU and the African continent.
